Grace

Nicholas James Vujicic is an Australian American Christian evangelist and motivational speaker born in 1982 without fully formed limbs. Vujicic attempted suicide at age 10 but by age 13 he began to realize that he had a choice: "either to be angry for what I don't have or be thankful for what I do have." When he was seventeen he committed himself to Christ he started to give talks at a prayer group. Vujicic overcame obstacles to become a college graduate, an avid sportsman best-selling author and founder of the Los-Angeles-based international non-profit ministry Life Without Limbs in 2005. He said "I realized at age 24 that when I don't get a miracle, I can still be a miracle for someone else. Vujicic reminds us of Apostle Paul who pleaded with God to take away ‘a thorn in his flesh’ - an unknown struggle which remained in his life. But he realised that God’s grace is sufficient is keep him and went on to be the greatest Apostle. Many of us have been holding back from seeking God’s will for our lives because we have been waiting for God to deliver us from our struggles. What Paul and Vujicic is showing us that we should not let any weaknesses hinder us from pursing God’s will for our lives as when we are weak, we need to depend on God more for His strength.
